MicroTeck started as an Internet Service provider in May 2005. It was among the first ISPs to sell Broadband Internet using ADSL and shared frequency Wireless Access, similar to what other ISPs are currently using.

We were awarded a spectrum and service license by the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (Bocra) in a competitive bid in 2010. After painstaking planning, the roll out of the 4th Generation (4G) broadband wireless network using WiMAX now has coverage throughout Botswana.
